I purchased the KindleDX leather cover to accompany my KindleDX and highly recommend others to purchase this, or a similar cover. The Amazon promo video shows a student using a KindleDX on campus, then sliding it into his bag, but I doubt the Kindle front surface would remain in good condition for long as scratches would soon develop. For me it was a no-brainer to purchase a cover for the KindleDX as I can safely place it in my backpack etc knowing that the KindleDX will not get damaged in any way. The... more info
