Useful and durable cover:

Pros:
1) Lightweight
2) Durable
3) Protected my kindle from coffee spills and water.
Cons:
1) I have to be careful when opening the cover. It seems that it might break when opened on the wrong side that is when the backside of the cover is opened.

A Great Cover:

Read most all the reviews before ordering this cover. Now that I have used it for several weeks I'm glad I choose this one. From the 1st day I have folded the cover all the way back so that I can read on a table or with one hand resting the bottom on my lap or chest while in bed. The cover feel like quality, fits perfectly and offers good protection for the DX.

Amazon Kindle DX Leather Cover:

This is a good protector for the Kindle DX and fits very well. The binding snaps seem to fit fine and are relatively easy to get on and off. It is made from a sturdy product so gives the Kindle good protection. The only drawback for me is that it adds extra weight to the Kindle DX which I then find too heavy to hold comfortably for long periods of reading. Lately I have been removing the cover when I am going to read for 10 minutes or more and then reinstall the cover to put the Kindle away.

Kindle Leather Cover:

Initially I had the smaller Kindle and leather cover and the cover was nice and straight, giving it a nice professional looking appearance.
I upgraded to the DX and this is my second cover. I immediately returned the first one because it looks like a flimsy, creased or bent cardboard covered with leather with bumps under the leather.
