VERY good product:
Bought this for my daughter's birthday ... very impressed with the quality of the picture, the sound and the build of the unit. Definitely a good value to the dollar spent
Slow to change channels:
First, kudoes to Amazon. I ordered this on Wednesday morning, choose supersaver free shipping, and it arrived before noon on Thursday (I live in Dallas/Fort Worth). Set-up and programming took 15 minutes (okay, I am a rocket scientist) and the DVD player works. The remote is intuitive for someone experienced with using remote conrols. DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP!:
I purchased a Sharp LC-22DV27UT through Amazon on Feb 4, 2010. I don't watch a lot of movies but recently received some DVDs so decided to watch one last night.

Bedroom TV:
This was a great choice for a bedroom television. It looks great mounted on the wall and has extremely good picture and sound quality. The DVD is easy to use and works well. With the QAM tuner, I am able to get about 100 cable channels (some of which are HD)without a converter box. It was easy to set up and so far has performed flawlessly. I am considering a second set for my camper.
