Sony Blue Ray Home Theater System:
My daughter-in-law and I bought this for my son (her husband) who had every piece of electronics except for a Home Theater System. He loves it and he made me a video so that I could see how it sounded and looked with a movie in the Blue Ray Player. The sound was exceptional and the whole system set up just looked awesome. Great buy - Poor assembly:
This was a great buy. I did a lot of research, including reading most of the reviews posted here. The product arrived FAST. The sound quality is terrific and I was very pleased with the price, which was significantly lower than all other places we shopped at the time of purchase. You can't beat this product for the money. Easy to Set-up:
The ease of setting this up was great. S-AIR works great. Had everything set up in less than 90 minutes. I don't really care for the 2 tall front speakers for my living room. Purcahsed Atlantic Satellite 77305018 Speaker Stands (Black), also from Amazon, for the two rear surround sound speakers and it really finishes the set-up.
BDV-E500W:
I am giving this system a rating of 7 out of 10 because of the following drawback explained below: 1) poor FM radio reception, 2) inability to adjust sound on $250 extra wireless receiver.
