I got this on 3/6/10 for my husband. It's his first use of a touchscreen phone other than when he plays around on my iPhone. We got it at Walmart as a free upgrade out the door compared to $49.99 at the AT&T Store, or $169, including package upgrades such as a cheap bluetooth, case, and car charger. Just be aware, some users reviews said they didn't have to subscribe to an internet service, which apparently, AT&T now requires. I've had this phone for 2 days and it's going back. Hang the restocking fee, I'm not suffering a phone with no ability to edit text with an arrow key on a keyboard. Also PC Studio sync software that does not support Windows 7. It installs and then rejects every driver it tries and will not acknowledge the phone being plugged in or connected via bluetooth. I just moved down from a BlackBerry so maybe I'm expecting too much but spell check and the ability to edit text beyond using a delete key plus, the... more info

Recently I bought Samsung Solstice on Amazon just to replace my lost cell phone. However seller sent me new phone number and At&T account that I didn't asked for. I returned everything within required period and canceled account with AT&T because I already have AT&T account. But I was charged $68...and I don't know for what!!! So I just want to make sure that other customer won't get cheated here! I will strongly recommend not to get this phone on here!!!!

I read a lot of reviews before getting this phone. The phone turned out better than I thought it would be after reading the reviews. We use the speakerphone feature a lot, and we do not get the echo other people talked about. I don't know if this was problem fixed by the company or not We got 3 Solstice phones and none of them have an echo. They also work great in our Toyota hands-free system. We do not pay for the AT&T data package and we had no interest in surfing the web on the phone or getting email... more info
