Works -- but a hassle to use:
These aerators work well, enhancing the taste of the wine, but they are a surprising hassle to use. If you don't rinse them right after pouring, and put them back in their holder stands, then mold grows in the holder stands -- gross and ugly, especially the white. So now every time I pour wine I immediately walk to the sink (catching the drips from the aerator in my hand) rinse it and my hands, and dry it (so it doesn't get covered with ugly water spots...) before setting it back in it's holder. The Vinturi wine aerator really works. I test every bottle of wine I now open: Without aeration and with (Vinturi). Hard to believe what such a simple tool can add to the taste and texture of your favorite drink. At Amazon's price, which really is equivalent to one good bottle of wine, you will appreciate the returns on this investment with every sip. I now know what I will buy my family and friends this Christmas.
