Bad Customer service:
The customer service for norton is horrible. They give you a run around and its hard to get a hold of them for technical assistance. Still trying to deal with.

I purchased NAV 2009 from Amazon in March 2009 and was very happy with the price, shipping and product functionality. In June 2009 the NAV IPS function stopped working ( a minor component) due to a FireFox upgrade. It took a month for Norton to fix this partly because FireFox kept updating their versions during the same period. Norton responded by updating my NAV2009 to NAV2010 for FREE. Norton Anti-virus 2010:
The Norton 2010 Anti-virus one user/one pc was a breeze to install and seems to work great. It downloads updates when you install it if you allow it. It does not seem to slow down the computer very much at all. It is much more friendly than the Defender Pro which I just removed/uninstalled. The Defender Pro would lock up my computer by requesting that I download an updated version and sending numerous (over a hundred) windows that had to be deleted before my computer would allow me to do anything else.
