Got what I paid for:

Purchased this player for $100.00 on black Friday and thought I was getting a great deal. What I didn't check was the warranty most offer a 1 year, Toshiba only offers a 90 day limited warranty. Guess what, on day 92 the BDX2000 stopped playing dvd's and the BD playback sometimes freezes half-way through a movie. I'm probable going to end up paying for repairs or replacement of this unit. I will never buy a Toshiba or any other player that does not offer a full year warranty again. Buyer beware

Works Well:

So far no complaints with the unit. I purchased the Toshiba model because it links with my Toshiba Tv with Regza link. I didn't need all the internet features as far as downloading movies etc. It does Has BD live but I doubt I'll ever use this feature. The price was right @ (...) online at (...). Blue ray does seem to take longer to load however and I assume that is inherent of all blue ray disc players. But it did link well with my Toshiba tv. Easy setup...still haven't figured a way to bookmark movies to... more info

worth every penny:

for the price this blu ray player gives you every thing you need. from bd live to a quick pick up from where you left off in the movie this is a quality buy. The remote is easy to use. the player has a sleek look and design, i have also found it gives me much better dvd upconverting than the previous samsung blu ray player i owned which would give me some funtion issues on certain blu ray discs also. not so with this toshiba. thumbs up !

Great Product:

Toshiba produced a nice Blu-Ray player for Toshiba HDTV users. The Regza-Link makes playing Blu-Ray discs a snap. Turn on the player and the link does the rest. Will recommend to others.
