Worse then zero!:

If it were possible to give this product a negative number of stars, I think it would deserve it, not so much for the product itself, but for the "customer support" I received. When it wouldn't install, after many attempts (ending with useless error messages), I called H. & R. Block's customer support, and foolishly carried out the operations they told me to do. This resulted in a computer that wouldn't boot up (hung up in endless "Installing updates...", then rebooting, cycles). The only way I could... more info

works OK:

I've used Taxcut for many years (maybe 10 years), but this is the first time I've used the download version. The download worked fine. I still get a little paranoid about this program because one year, I discovered that it didn't automatically enter my AMT credit (which was a carried over from the previous year)onto my tax form. Also this version runs very slowly on my system (Windows XP), but since no one else has complained about this, maybe it's due to my system.

No issues downloading or installing on Vista. Worked like a charm, just like prior years.

I've been using tax cut for years, its the only software i've used to prepare my returns. i was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews on amazon but decided to continue to purchase anyway. i did receive an error installing on Vista like many others but was able to install by navigating to the exe that was downloaded on my hard drive.
