Customer Review: I've been running various horror themed tabletop RPGs for over a decade. This book is decent, but lacked a lot of depth about the nature of horror and fear that would benefit people who have never played or written a horror campaign. If you want to learn how to write good horror adventures for a... more info
Customer Review: Well, in my personal opinion, DnD is not a urban game, so i don't like this book. The artwork is really good, but the game mechanics are poor, we have a few new feats, prestige classes and spells. The rules for city construction are kinda of complicated and burocratic. Customer Review: I really like wizards and magic users so I really wanted to love this book. If you want something off the beaten track of magic, this provides some ideas. As an aid to most games, though, it doesn't provide much. It's a niche product for those looking for variants in magic.
Customer Review: I recently got into Eberron, and have snapped up quite a few of its (generally very high-quality) sourcebooks. I'm the type that takes Amazon reviews into consideration, though, so "The Forge of War" wasn't one of my purchases, because of its very low rating. Recently, though, someone in my... more info
