Customer Review: Each of the recipes is provided by, and credited to a specific person who has actually used the technique. The book was created by the Gardeners and Farmers of Terre Vivante in France and translated into English. Occasionally there will be a food or technique that is specific to France and doesn't... more info
Customer Review: I call this cookbook "The Bible."
I've cooked maybe a hundred of the recipes in Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone, for groups of ten to about 150 people.
It never goes wrong.

Customer Review: I got this book from the library first and I am glad I did since I would have not been happy had I bought this book. i did not find it particularly entertaining nor the recipes that appealing. Did not finish the book. I am glad I did not spend any money on it.

Customer Review: Complex and stunning mix of flavors, can't beat this one ! When my non-vegetarian friends come to visit I substitute chicken for tofu in many of the recipes with marvelous results.
Customer Review: First of all, this is not a perfect cookbook. The recipes are involved and time-consuming for a beginning cook, but if you love good food and learning, they are well worth the time investment. I bought this book as a poor student and struggled through some of the recipes but they are absolutely... more info
Customer Review: Robert Farrar Capon's "The Supper of the Lamb: A Culinary Reflection" is not like any cookbook I have ever come across. At least, I think it's a cookbook. Or it might be a book of theology. And it is funny. And perhaps that's what describes it the best. A funny, theological cookbook. First... more info
