Customer Review: This book is very touching, and will be enjoyed by any dog lover. Marley is NOT the stereotypical "good dog". He is not Lassie, and that is part of his charm. He is loyal, albeit wild and disastrous. This book had me laughing out loud at parts, and tearful at other parts. I definitely recommend it... more info
Customer Review: Loved the book, love dogs, made me laugh, made me happy, made me cry. It's a great book and if you love pets and animals, read this book and read Dewey The Library Cat, too.
Customer Review: THE LONGEST TRIP HOME, written by John Grogan (MARLEY AND ME) is a fine example of a well-done memoir told in chronological order, starting in the author's early childhood and ending in his middle age with his father's death. It is humorous (Grogan is good at self-deprecation), telling (lots of... more info
Customer Review: I really liked John's style of writing in Marley & Me, so I thought I'd give this book a try. I liked it so much I gave it as a gift to my father. His insights, observations, and commentary on the world around us are dead-on, written in a light, often humorous style. If you can't relate, you're... more info
Customer Review: I'm a lover of all things dog related, but this is just too much. While this was written by Grogan, I'm pretty sure he isn't behind this book, and for that reason alone I won't buy it for anyone. Like another reviewer, I'm giving this away. I'm not even going to try and sell it.
Customer Review: I had never read anything by John Grogan, but I'm ready to start. My daughter and I read this in an actual book store shortly after Thanksgiving. I was sooooo impressed, I immediately logged onto Amazon and added it to my wish list. It is such a good-hearted book. I HIGHLY recommend it.
Customer Review: Marley and Me was a fantastic book! It was very descriptive with the activities that Marley did along the way of his life. In my opinion i believe that this book is to tell all those dog lovers out there that even if your dog is crazy, and not the worlds best dog, but that they are other dogs out... more info
Customer Review: If you read the title, you'll know what to expect. It is a compilation of short stories about animals, family and life (mostly stories and lessons about life). Yes, I expected more animal stories, but I enjoyed the book none the less.
