Cathedral from Grand Central Publishing Price: $4.19
Customer Review: The Irish of New York's finest vs the Irish of a radical group of the IRA. The Fenians take over St. Patrick's Cathedral on St. Patrick's Day under the brillant directon of Brian Flynn and his dark ring. DeMille brings out the selfishness of government leaders, from local to federal, as they... more info
Customer Review: I did not receive TALBOT ODYSSEY.
What I received instead was a set of children's horse books by Marguerite Henry.
I gave them to a grandchild for Christmas.
But thanks anyway.
Customer Review: John Corey returns in another enjoyable detective thriller by Nelson DeMille. If anything, this book is put together even better than Nightfall. The characters are engaging and often hilarious. I'm sure I laughed out loud five times at Corey's sharp dialogue. FBI wife Kate is also someone to root... more info
Up Country from Grand Central Publishing Price: $6.50
Customer Review: This was a good book, I felt it was a little drawn out. Demille is very detailed, I mean down to the wire details. I really enjoyed this book and learned a lot about the war. I was disappointed that the end did not have more punch. Demille weaves a crafty tale for sure.
Spencerville from Grand Central Publishing Price: $4.20
Customer Review: All other Nelson DeMille books are available on unabridged audio books/CD's. The only exception from the rule is "Spencerville" which is only available in an abridged version.
Why is my favorite DeMille book still not out unabridged on audio book/CD's???
Customer Review: As usual, the author provides the reader with a good yarn and snappy dialogue. This is a suspenseful mystery by a master storyteller. It is no surprise that is was made into a blockbuster film starring John Travolta in the role of Criminal Investigation Division Warrant Officer Paul Brenner, a... more info
Customer Review: not as good as I thought it was gonna be. it still wasn't too bad. I love Mary Higgins Clark and her short story was great but I didn't like the other writers. They are nowhere as talented as her.
Customer Review: I read these books while traveling from city to city throughout Europe. They were simply amazing. Though the novels lack DeMille's typical sarcastic wit, they fail in nothing. All provoke deep thought and reflection. These are intensive books that place you in the situation and leave you reeling... more info
Customer Review: Mr. DeMille either was a cop, or talked with a lot of them, because I found the language of the character completely in tune with east coast cops I know. The book was not what I expected - in a good way. Things kept changing, but I didn't feel manipulated by plot twists - I felt like I was along for... more info

Like all compilation collections by different authors you have superb masterpieces along with stories which aren't that great. There are enough... more info
