Customer Review: This is my 9 month old's favorite book. He smiles whenever he sees it and breaks out into a laugh when I turn the first page to Peek-a-Moo! It holds his attention every time. He's surprisingly not that interested in the mirror in the back, but I like it because then I get to see his face when he's... more info
Customer Review: I love this book for a few reasons. One, it is whimsical and very tongue-in-cheek. The dog's 'life' is a great example of personification and a great lead-in for explaining 'voice' to my students when teaching them the process of writing. It helps them 'see' (due to the unigue style of font use) and... more info
Customer Review: I gave a copy to my six year old niece, and she's read it many times. It's contributed both to her reading skills and to her art appreciation. What more can you ask of a book?
Customer Review: As an art teacher, I am always looking for ways to fire up the students before we begin our project. This book was a big hit with k-2nd grade students. We talk about what an Architect does and what a neighborhood is as well as different kinds of insects along the way through the story. The collage... more info
Customer Review: My son likes lift the flap books like "where is baby's belly button" and "where are baby's easter eggs" and could read them 100x in a row. Customer Review: Whimsical drawing and cute story make this a winner with kids of many ages. Older kids can read it easily and babies enjoy the pictures and mirror.
Author/artist Nina Laden has written a new (children's) take on a familiar Shakespearean theme- true love won and lost, only for Romeow and Drooliet, the star-crossed cat and dog kept apart by a growling rottweiler, their astonished owners and the auspices of Animal Control, true love wins out... more info
Customer Review: Baby loves it although i was a little nervous about the button nose. My baby loved to put it in his mouth and suck on it. Mine was very well put together but as a second-time mom I would not have bought it. He could choke if the button comes lose, even though its a big button.
Customer Review: This was a very entertaining and well-illustrated book - full of subtle, and not-so-subtle puns that entertains adults and kids alike. Makes your mouth water for some greasy fried grasshoppers. My kid's favorite line is now "The 'I' stands for...I'll be waiting!" Great book!
