Customer Review: Nice, colorful, easy to read and has 40!!! stickers, which are the most important part after the kid reads the book. Organized in one full book.
Customer Review: I don't write reviews very often, but I felt I needed to with this book. My son is beginning first grade this year, and is reading short words, but he doesn't like to sit very long. It is a struggle to get him through more than one book a day. However, with this set I can usually get him to read... more info
Customer Review: Nora Gaydos' series 'Now I'm Reading' has really helped our unmotivated reader get going with reading.
PROS
- stickers (multiples for each of the books)
- fun stories (too often, early reader stories are dull, but I was actually flipping ahead on 3-4 of these books to see how... more info
Customer Review: We've used the Bob books, Diego phonics, Curious George phonics and by far this is the best "set" of books for my 4 year old boy. Each book focuses on a different phrase, so the repetition of certain words builds confidence. The stickers have been a great reward system, for us. Generally I am... more info

These are basically just counting books. After you've read the first one, you know all the other books. Which is a shame because one of the... more info
Customer Review: My kids' preschool teacher recommended this to me and now I rave about Nora Gaydos' "Now I'm Reading" level 1 and up series to other moms. Let me count the ways... 1) I credit this series with getting my kids to read sooner than they would have. 2) Stories are very short but engaging to... more info
Customer Review: I typically rave about Nora Gaydos' "Now I'm Reading" series. I credit it with getting my kids to read sooner than they would have. However, except for the charming drawings and stickers, *this* pre-reader set has none of the things that make her Level 1 and up series so amazing. The words cannot... more info
Customer Review: What a great price for books that are actually readable for emergent readers. My six-year-old knows very basic phonics--short vowel sounds and the silent "e," and she was able to read these stories. Great stories for the "My Pretty Pony" crowd--not real intellectual or profound, but very cute.
