Customer Review: I recently found a recipe that calls for cubed mango and this little item makes it so much easier to cut the fruit. There isn't as much waste either. Highly recommend it. Not hard to use at all. Just make sure you hold the fruit at the correct angle and push down slowly with the chopper. Pop it in... more info
Customer Review: I'm glad I read other people's comments about how sharp the blades are. I had no problems at all, but it pays to be careful taking it apart when you are first using it - I can see how carelessness could be painful. We have access to a wonderful farmstand next to a cornfield, so we get absolutely... more info
Customer Review: I love this thing. My children love to drink the juice left in the pineapple after I remove the slices. Makes cutting pineapple so easy. We eat it all the time now.
Customer Review: The ergonomics are great. It's rigid, but has a slightly rubberized, uniform grip. I do feel that the bristles are a bit soft, but that's ok. I use this a lot for mushrooms and tomatoes, which are fairly soft to begin with. In most cases, I peel or remove the skin from tubers. However, I like... more info
Customer Review: We had high hopes for this little device. My in-laws grow and freeze a ton of corn each year and wanted a better way of getting the corn from the cobs. It cuts only one or two rows at a time and was extremely messy to use. Using a good old-fashion knife worked much better and didn't cause a huge... more info
Customer Review: This is exactly what I was looking for to core lots of apples for drying. This tool is easy to use; it makes this type of chore so much easier. I looked at other reviews before I purchased this kitchen tool; they were right on as to its usefulness.
Customer Review: I like the design with the raised handles, but the cutting edge is flush with the plastic frame so the apples don't get get cut cleanly all the way through to the bottom. That means you need to turn the tool over and push the partially cut pieces through individually.
For that reason alone,... more info
Customer Review: I love my apple peeler for so many reasons. No one has one of these things its so cool when everyone comes over fascinated by this thing. Not only that, but I hate the skin more than anything in the world and I can peel it off really easy and make a cool twist out of the inside of the apple. The... more info
Customer Review: I took a hint from ye olde soda jerk and dip the scoop into water between scoops. Or you can dip it into 10X sugar. But I prefer the water method. The dough comes out like a charm. I am the cookie maker for the family for all occasions. Would be lost without my Oxo scoops.
Customer Review: Just used this once again right before reviewing. Easy on the hand for peeling potatoes. It didn't work as well on apples and seems better for larger potatoes just because it is a fairly large tool for a woman's hand.
