Customer Review: I have the Charlton Heston version of this film, titled "The Omega Man," and can say that "I Am Legend" is a great remake of the story. While TOM was more religious in nature, which was accepted at the time (it was in essence a Vegetable Myth story,) IAL takes a more objective view of the story. And... more info
Customer Review: Although I didn't care for this movie, my niece loved it and wanted it as a birthday gift. She likes Hayden Christensen and suspenseful movies, so this was a perfect selection for her. The movie had action and lots of teleportation, but highly believable, it is not.
Customer Review: More than an epic tale of an early 20th Century oilman, this is a fascinating study of the greed for power and what it does to a man.

Customer Review: I am a fan of the science fiction genre but there is no amount of lipstick you could put on this pig to make it palatable. This is a truly terrible movie.
Customer Review: National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets is a $130 million adventure film that looks great, has a great pace, and stars Nicholas Cage, Harvey Keitel, Helen Mirren, and Ed Harris, among others. All the more shame because no emphasis was put into making this story anymore than a souped-up version of a Dan... more info

While the Alien remains the same mindless gore hungry killer that Sigourney Weaver first encountered in the original, the Predator has slowly begun to morph from the skull collecting trophy hunter... more info
Customer Review: The Golden Compass was an imaginative and innovative book, inspiring novel viewpoints of personal spirituality, among other things. The plot and events are so complex that compressing it all into a single-sitting movie is ambitious. The elisions that the compression required make the action skip... more info
Customer Review: The movie was actually pretty good up until the last few minutes. Before the ending, the movie was about struggling for survival and using everything you've got to protect the ones you love (yes, that includes not abandoning your own child to walk a woman home in monster filled mists). The ending... more info
